Police are trying to determine whether a woman was the target of a sniper attack outside the Delilah’s gentleman’s club in Northern Liberties.

Two bullets struck the woman’s pickup truck, including the windshield in the shooting Monday evening, and police said they found signs the gunfire came from the fifth-floor of a warehouse building behind the club at Front and Spring Garden Streets.

The woman was getting into the truck about 6:15 p.m. when the gunfire rang out, police said. The woman dashed back into the club and was not harmed.

Police swarmed the area after the shooting and closed several ramps at nearby I-95 in the search for a shooter.

Workers renovating the warehouse behind Delilah’s reported hearing gunshots from inside the building, and SWAT teams searched the building, finding evidence of gunfire on the fifth floor but not the sniper, police said.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said it was too early to tell whether the woman who was shot at was the target, though that it is sure to be a focus of the investigation.
