Two Chester men have been arrested in the shooting death of 22-year-old Donte Carlton Murray in February, the Delaware County District Attorney’s office announced Thursday.

Breon Matthew Pringle and Yordanie Radamas Camacho, both 19, have been charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, conspiracy, weapons offenses and other related crimes in the slaying of Murray, also of Chester.

On Feb. 3, Chester police were called to the 900 block of Pennell Street for a shooting. Murray was transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Cartridge casings from a .45 caliber and a 9 mm weapons were recovered at the scene. Witnesses said a gray two-door Honda Accord fled the area immediately after the shooting.

Five days later, the car was found in the 2600 block of Prince Street. Police arrested Camacho on firearms violations after finding a 9 mm Ruger P95 with an obliterated serial number in his possession. The gun also had an extended magazine with 29 rounds including one round in the chamber. A black 9 mm Beretta M9A1 was also found in the rear seat cushion of the car. Pringle, who had been on scene, fled.

A forensic evaluation found the casings from the murder scene matched that of the 9mm gun taken from Camacho, according to the district attorney’s office,

Pringle was taken into custody on Sunday, July 2. Camacho is being held on a detainer in prison on the firearms offense, according to the District Attorney’s office
