SEPTA train hits person in Montco

A section of SEPTA’s Lansdale/Doylestown Line is suspended after someone was struck by a train in Montgomery County.



The person was hit by an outbound train about 9:20 a.m. Monday near the Fortuna station in Lansdale.

SEPTA said trains on the Regional Rail aren’t operating between the Lansdale and Doylestown stations as emergency crews respond to the scene. Trains are running between Lansdale and Center City.





Further details weren’t available. The victim’s condition wasn’t immediately known.
