CAMDEN – The 76ers will continue to stay busy in the immediate days leading up to Thursday’s draft, as they host a group workout for the eighth time in the last three weeks.

Of the players invited to the team’s training complex Tuesday, none are projected to be taken in the opening round. Kris Jenkins, whose national championship-clinching shot capped Villanova’s 2016 title run, will be among the attendees. The forward averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game as a senior last season.

Rounding out the rest of Tuesday’s contingent are Arizona guard Kadeem Allen, Senegal’s Youssoupha Fall, Florida State’s Michael Ojo, and Pitt’s Michael Young. Fall, Ojo, and Young are all big men, with Fall and Ojo each standing over 7-feet tall. Princeton guard Spencer Weisz,
the 2017 Ivy League Player of the Year, was a late addition Tuesday morning.

Here’s some additional information on each prospect…

The 22-year old capped his campaign in the middle of May with his fifth double-double.

If nothing else, Ojo provided Florida State with an imposing, physical, powerful presence on the inside. Despite his relatively limited playing time, he served as a starter for the Seminoles last season, helping the program reach the NCAA Tournament. One of the ACC’s top performers in recent years, Young paced the conference in scoring as a senior. His ability to get to the line was key to his prolific scoring output, as he made and attempted 172 and 221 free throws, respectively. Young reached the 20-point mark in 15 of his 33 appearances, and sunk a career-best 42 3-pointers.

Spencer Weisz
