Police ID man killed in North Philly double shooting over weekend

Police on Thursday identified a 29-year-old man who was fatally wounded during a double shooting in North Philadelphia over the weekend as Randall Ellis.


About 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Ellis was found lying in a hallway of his residence, on the 3000 block of North 10th Street, with gunshot wounds to his face, legs and arms, police said. Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead that night.

Police said a 21-year-old man, who was wounded in the same shooting scene, had been taken by private vehicle to Temple, where he was in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his buttock.





No arrest has been reported. The shootings remain under investigation by the Homicide Unit.
