A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond section Wednesday morning, the Pennsylvania State Police said.

The person was hit on the northbound side at about 8 a.m. near Exit 26 for the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue.

The victim’s condition was not immediately released.

Three of four lanes on the northbound side were closed in that area after the accident. Those lanes reopened at about 11 a.m., and traffic was back to normal, police said.
