Part of Roosevelt Blvd. shut down after fatal shooting

Philadelphia police have shut down part of Roosevelt Boulevard early Sunday morning following a fatal shooting.


According to media and wire reports, a man was driving his car on Summerdale Avenue around 6 a.m. when a driver in a Cadillac pulled beside him and open fire.

6 ABC reports that the victim was shot in the head and crossed several lanes of traffic on Roosevelt Boulevard before crashing into a fence near Adams Avenue. He was found dead in his car when police arrived at the scene.





The man in the Cadillac fled, and is currently at large.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
