Motorist shot while at stop sign in West Oak Lane

A 24-year-old motorist was shot at a stop sign by another man who got out of a passing car Tuesday evening in the city’s West Oak Lane section, police said.





The victim was stopped in the 7200 block of Rodney Street just after 6:20 p.m. when he was shot twice by an unidentified man, police said. He was taken by private automobile to Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.




Police reported no motive or arrests.
