Police are seeking a group of youths in connection with an explosive device thrown into a Chinese takeout in Queen Village earlier this month. No one was injured, police said.
About 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12, seven young men were captured on surveillance video, released by police Thursday, walking on the 500 block of Washington Avenue. One of them is seen throwing the device into the New Dragon City takeout, at Washington Avenue and Randolph Street, as the others stand nearby.
After the device explodes in the empty lobby, the youths are seen running east on Washington.
Tipsters should call South Detectives at 215-686-3013 or the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477). Tips, which can be anonymous, also can be submitted online.
