A popular Haverford restaurant is still smoldering Sunday morning after being engulfed in flames overnight.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire around 5:30 a.m. Sunday at Barnaby’s Restaurant, a popular spot in Haverford on West Chester Pike, where they encountered heavy flames that appeared to engulf the entire building.
According to photos of the scene, taken by members of the Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company, it appears the fire has caused heavy damage to the building’s structure. No word yet on what cause the fire, or if anyone was in the building at the time.
