3-Year-Old Found After Falling Into Schuylkill River

An infant fell into the Schuylkill River along Boathouse Row on Saturday afternoon and was found about half an hour later, according to emergency officials.

The three-year-old disappeared off a boat ramp just after 12 p.m. to one of the famed college boathouses on Kelly Drive, officials said.

At 12:38 p.m., emergency responders pulled the child from the river and began performing CPR, according to officials and emergency dispatch. Paramedics then rushed the child to Children’s Hospital in West Philadelphia.
