Two people have been arrested after climbing to the top of a tower on the Ben Franklin Bridge overnight.

The  illegal escapade prompted police to close the bridge for about 90 minutes starting about 1:30 a.m. and halted PATCO service across the span.

The initial call was for a jumper in the bridge and Philadelphia police marine units responded along with Delaware River Port Authority police.

Video broadcast by FOX29 shows police climbing the bridge’s suspension cable to reach the pair on the top of the 385-foot west tower.

6ABC reports that the pair climbed the bridge to paint graffiti but got stuck.

No injuries have been reported.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
